Learner Profile

Learner Profile allows students to demonstrate attributes that are highly coveted for the development of life skills.

Shivansh Pathak and Maalvikaa Sharma showcased the learner profile attribute of being inquirers when they searched and shared with the class the full form and meaning of the words ‘org’, ‘edu’, ‘com’ and ‘in’ used in a website address.

 

Aryan Kapoor took an action when he learned about Braille language and distress signals and inquired about both (on different days) from his father. When his father said – Yes, Braille is a language for the blind; Aryan immediately stopped him in the middle of the conversation saying that it wasn’t kind enough to say language for ‘blind’. Instead of that, his dad should say it’s a language for the ‘visually impaired’.

Similarly, he also shared about how and when the different distress signals are used and also related to it while watching a movie with his parents.

Halyn Lim displayed the learner profile of being caring by helping her friend wear his helmet during skating classes.

Anay Rastogi displayed the learner profiles of being an inquirer and a communicator by creating and conducting a quiz session for the class on the unit ‘homes’.

 

Aaditia Chittwal took action by sharing a layout plan of a house with the class.

Ruhani Khanna displayed the learner profile of being ‘reflective’, for she researched about the ongoing unit on ‘Body Systems’ and brought information on the sense organs of the human body to share with her peers in the class.

Anvi Dhawan displayed the learner profile of being caring by helping her friend pack her bag after skating class.

 

 

Armaan Malik showcased the learner profiles of being an inquirer and a communicator when he found out the meaning of the term ‘enzymes’ and further shared it with the class.
